Tyres for wheel loaders

Aeolus has recently introduced a number of new OTR tyres. Aeolus will also come up with a number of new product releases in the last quarter of this year and the first quarter of 2025. This concerns tyres for wheel loaders, dump trucks as well as for mobile excavators and MPT tyres, which will of course also be available via Heuver Tyres.

Aeolus AL35 (L3T)

In Q2 of 2024, Aeolus introduced the AL35 in size 23.5R25. This L3 tyre with a new and deeper pattern design replaces the current AL36 and AL37. The AL35 is ideal for smooth and flat surfaces, such as asphalt and concrete, reduces the number of vibrations and offers extra traction thanks to the extra tread depth. The AL35 will soon also be available in sizes 20.5R25 and 26.5R25.

 

Aeolus AL419 (L4T)

Aeolus also launched a completely new L4 tyre for 'load & carry' applications in Q2 of 2024 (first in 26.5R25 and 29.5R25); the AL419. This tyre is comparable in pattern to the Bridgestone VSNT and Michelin XLD D1A. The 150% deep pattern offers enormous traction and comfort. In addition to the sizes 23.5R25 (following in Q4 of 2024), 26.5R25 and 29.5R25, the AL419 will also be marketed in 20.5R25 from Q4/2024, which is quite unique, as this type of tyre is hardly available in this size at other tyre manufacturers.

 

Aeolus AL519 (L5T)

The new AL519 will replace the current AL59 (non-directional pattern) and AL58 (directional pattern). The updated pattern is the same as that of the new AL419, only in the variant with the extra deep L5 pattern (250%). The improved block design keeps vibrations to a minimum. In addition, the AL519 gets a fender on the sidewall of the tyre; something that the AL58 and AL59 did not have so far. Aeolus will offer the AL519 in sizes 20.5R25, 23.5R25, 26.5R25, 29.5R25 and 35/65R33. The forecast is that the first tyres will roll out of the factory from Q1/2025.

 

Aeolus AS50 (L5S)

The Aeolus AS50 has been part of the wheel loader tyre range for many years, which can be used for the most demanding conditions. Thanks to the slick tread design, this tyre is ideal for applications such as glass recycling and underground mining. The AS50 has always been available in sizes 17.5R25, 23.5R25, 26.5R25 and 29.5R25. Recently, the size 20.5R25 was added with a *3 star casing, which can withstand the heaviest loads. The AS50 will also soon be launched on the market in 26.5R25 with a *3 star casing.

 

Aeolus AL513 (L5R)

The AL513 is a completely new design and will be the successor to the current AL53. The AL513 - initially only for sizes 20.5R25 and 23.5R25 - has an extra strong *3 star casing, which ensures a higher load capacity so that it can continue to function well on increasingly powerful machines. Because the AL513 will be available as a 15.5R25 variant, Aeolus captures a real niche market, as there are only few other suppliers of this. In addition, the AL513 will also be marketed as a 20.5R25 and 23.5R25 version and it is likely that sizes such as 17.5R25, 26.5R25, 29.5R25 and 35/65R33 will eventually follow.
