Aeolus Tyres celebrates 50th anniversary and remains loyal to its innovative principles

Solid background; promising future

“When we started working with Aeolus in the Benelux, Germany, France, Austria, Denmark and Romania in 2004, we could only dream about establishing a solid future together, explains Bertus Heuver, director at Heuver Tyrewholesale. “In its home country China, Aeolus quickly grew into a respectable brand soon after it was launched. And this led to it claiming a strong OEM position in the EM sector. In the meantime, the brand has expanded to become almost as diverse as the wide range of currently available cars and vehicles. This is a major achievement within the space of just 50 years, and proves that Aeolus is a solid company. This forms the foundation for our close working relationship which, amazingly enough, will allow us to also celebrate our 50th anniversary next year. The main thing is for us to approach the market and potential opportunities in the same manner: do not hesitate, and act immediately!"

Belief in innovation

Aeolus has marked many important milestones over the years, ranging from a listing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange to becoming a preferred supplier for Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company. After making production activities more environment-friendly (2011) and taking over Pirelli (2015), the company has now reached its latest milestone: its 50th anniversary Bertus Heuver: “Aeolus was only able to achieve all this by being open to advice and new innovations. We have worked with Aeolus for over 10 years and witnessed the company realise major developments in various sectors. This is only possible if you continue to invest and have genuine desire to innovate. And this approach will not change because Aeolus wants to continue offering tyres with ground-breaking technology, which is great news for our European customers. So Aeolus and Heuver have still got a lot more to offer the market.”
